Have Questions? I Have Answers
How do you deal with confidentiality?
With 22 years experience working as a PA within the legal sector, I am used to maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times.
Some clients do ask that we sign NDA's, which we are happy to do. We are also individually registered with the ICO and so are GDPR compliant.
How would I send you work?
The majority of work is sent via email or some clients use Asana/ClickUp to create To Do lists and instructions. Another option would be post if necessary.
Am I tied into a contract?
No, our contract just asks for 1 months notice.
What are your payment terms?
The vast majority of clients are on retainer packages, these clients take priority as they reserve their hours for the month ahead. Retainer packages are invoiced at the start of every month and payment is made in advance. Ad Hoc work is time recorded and invoiced at the end of the month.
What if I go over my retainer hours?
That's absolutely fine, we charge at the normal hourly rate and add it to the next invoice. We will never go over the hours without confirming, in writing, with our client first.
What if I don't use all of my hours on my retainer?
We do try to encourage all clients to use their hours within the month. As a small business this allows for correct time management. However, if essential and hours are not used 10% of those hours can be rolled into the following month only.
What is a Virtual Assistant(VA)?
A Virtual Assistant provides you with admin support for your business from a remote location. In other words, it's a PA who works remotely, usually from home.
Having a Virtual Assistant onboard means you have a helping hand with your admin, so you can concentrate on growing your business.
Do you charge extra for last-minute tasks?
No, if you have a last minute task it will be charged at the normal rate, if we have capacity.
I only need a few hours assistance here and there, do you provide such a service?
Yes we can, however please look at the Rates section of this website.
